Natural Hair Care Homemade Recipes

Taking care of your hair doesn’t have to be full time job. In fact, in just a few minutes a day you can restore your hair to its natural beauty and shine. This means cutting all the chemical products out of your life, however. Chemical products will build up on your hair shaft until it is full of residue that will dull its color and weigh it down. Instead you should use natural ingredients that nourish your hair and give you a beautiful, natural look. There are many common household and food items that can be combined to make natural hair care homemade recipes.
For instance, if you are experiencing dry hair and scalp, there is a very easy thing that you can do to help your hair become nourished again. Just take a trip into your kitchen and pull out your bottle of cooking oil. You can use soybean oil, olive oil, or even coconut oil. Massage one to two teaspoons of oil into your scalp two hours before you intend to shampoo your hair. Type your hair up in a scarf and let the natural plant oils rehydrate your scalp and your hair. If you are having trouble with dandruff or a flaking scalp, then add a tablespoon of lemon or lime juice to the mix. The natural acids in the lemon will break up the bacteria on your scalp that is causing the dandruff. It is also a natural antiseptic. The entire mixture is much gentler than chemical anti-dandruff shampoos and will give you comparable results.
You can also help to condition your hair and make it suppler with natural products. One of the best items to do that is the avocado. There is a lot of natural fat in an avocado, something that you hair just loves. In order to take advantage of the conditioning properties of an avocado, you need to mash it up thoroughly, either by hand or in a blender. Then mix it with a little coconut milk until you get a consistently similar to your regular, store bought conditioner. Work the mixture through to the ends of your hair and leave it in for about fifteen minutes until you shampoo and rinse it clean.
Using natural hair care homemade recipes not only insures that you are getting beautiful, natural hair, but that you are also saving a lot of money by eschewing the overpriced salon products.
