Omelettes have to be one of the quickest and easiest to prepare foods that can really deliver a nutritious punch and kickstart to your day. There are some tricks of course.
- Use egg whites, or as I’ve done here, mix half egg whites and a few cage-free organic eggs and skim milk
- Fill your omelettes with greens
- Add lean meat or smoked salmon
- Use a small amount of tasty, healthier cheese
- Leave bulkier ingredients out – put them on top instead
- Season properly
